Saints pregame guide

The Saints play their first preseason game today in Baltimore. The first Saints game since January and the first preseason game since 2019. It will be exciting to say the least, especially with the quarterback competition coming down to these three games most likely. For today’s pregame reports, we’ll go over the depth chart/substitutes, players to watch, and what positions to look out for.

Depth Chart:

*Kwon is listed as a starter but probably won’t play, Werner and Turner are still questionable to play

Players to watch:

  • Tony Jones Jr
  • Adebo/Crawley
  • Brett Maher
  • Easop Winston
  • Bryce Thompson
  • Juwan Johnson
  • Zack Baun/Andrew Dowell
  • Quarterbacks

Things to watch out for:

  • Can the wide receivers create separation
  • The linebackers production, they could’ve been doing good in camp due to the thin receiver room, let’s see if they can be physical
  • Decision making of the quarterbacks
  • How the depth of the offensive line performs
  • Michael Thomas’ overall body language and expressions on the sideline
  • How the kicker/punters perform

Jerseys:

White over gold with black socks

Where/how to watch:

Kickoff is at 7:00 pm E.T.

The game is on NFL Network, Fox, CBS and local radio stations will likely be broadcasting about the game.
