Recap of Today’s Transaction’s

During the final day prior to the new league year the Saints made some moves, and some players moved on. Here’s what went on today as of now.

The Saints restructured Terron Armstead’s contract, which should put the Saints under the cap. Details have yet to be released 

Rumors broke out that the Saints were one of five teams interested in veteran cornerback Richard Sherman.

Saints signed FullBack Alex Armah to the roster. Very good move in my opinion.

Defensive lineman Malcom Brown was traded to the Jaguars. Details as to what the Saints received have yet to be released, but it seems it was a draft pick.

After the Saints terminated Emmanuel Sanders’ contract, he signed with the Buffalo Bills.

Linebacker Kwon Alexander’s contract was terminated. 

Cornerback Janoris Jenkins signed with the Titans after being released by the Saints about a week ago.

Special teams ace Justin Hardee signed a 3 year deal with the Jets.

It was announced Russell Wilson and his camp determined 4 teams for a trade, the Saints, Raiders, Bears, and Cowboys.
