Mark Ingram’s injury along with the Saints injury report. Thursday’s updates

Mark Ingram injury update

Running back Mark Ingram did not participate in practice on Thursday after being limited Wednesday with a knee injury. I’m unsure if it’s the same knee injury he’s been dealing with for the majority of the season or if it’s a new injury which he suffered in the Dolphins game.

On Wednesday or Thursday Ingram did an interview with Eli Gold (click here to watch), and was asked about how his injury is progressing.

Here’s what Mark had to say “It’s going good man. Just one day at a time, little baby steps and keep improving. I’m better than I was last week, I’m better than I was yesterday. So that’s good news going forward and we still have some days left before Sunday. I’m doing everything I can to be on the field with my brothers for this playoff push, and make sure I can do everything in my power to make sure I’m ready to roll.”

Take what you want with that quote, I’m still not sure when they recorded the interview, but it was this week and was uploaded Thursday morning.

Ingram could’ve had a minor setback on Thursday, or just laid low key during practice. It’s just a situation to monitor and find out more on Friday.

The Saints did release running back Josh Adams on Wednesday in belief that their running back room was getting healthier.
