Ryan Ramczyk returns, injury updates and report, an update on Jameis, more

Update on Jameis

Quarterback Jameis Winston who tore his ACL on Halloween, and had surgery 53 days ago on November 13th, it’s progressing well in his rehab and is ahead of schedule.

Jameis started doing normal lateral movements and slides and looks like he’s doing well. The movements Jameis is doing helps recruit hip mobility and musculature in the quads and hamstrings.

With the added resistance to promote stabilization in the lower extremity and core stabilization.

Injury Updates

P.J Williams

In Sunday’s win over the Panthers, Saints defensive back P.J Williams suffered a few injuries. It appeared that there was a problem with his left foot, or a possible ankle injury along with what looked like a right shoulder injury. After the shoulder injury he went in the next drive and forced a fumble, and appeared fine.

Later in the game Williams suffered an ankle/foot injury in his left ankle/foot. It looked like Albert Huggins and another lineman rolled on top of Williams’ ankle.

He eventually walked off, went into the blue medical tent, then went to the locker room and never entered the game again.

As to his status, I’ve heard that it’s a day to day thing. It’ll just be something to monitor and it isn’t anything severe. It could be a case where Williams misses this week, and plays in the wildcard if they make it. It’s just a day by day situation.

Tanoh Kpassagnon

The Saints defensive line is shining right now, but there is a big missing piece in that front, Tanoh Kpassagnon.

Kpassagnon was signed in free agency and when he was on the field, he played a huge role on the defensive line. He was having a productive season until suffering an ankle injury and being placed on injured reserve. The last game he was available for was the Tennessee game.

From what I’ve heard about the injury is that Kpassagnon is currently working to get into the recovery stage from his injury.

There was a story a few weeks ago and it looked like Kpassagnon had a boot on his left foot.

Typically small foot fractures, severe sprains, torn muscles/tendons along with a few other injuries are when a boot would be required. I couldn’t figure out his injury and if there was a plan to return anytime soon.
