Tony Jones returns and Kamara limited, other Saints news from Wednesday

The Saints had some not so good looks at the injury report after the first practice of the week. On the bright side there are some reinforcements possibly coming back in Tony Jones to give more depth at the running back room and possibly give some spark to the offense.

Injury report

Tony Jones Jr. was participating in practice after being on injured reserve since week four with an ankle injury. He doesn’t show up on the injury report because he’s on injured reserve. He was designated to return off of injured reserve, so barring any setbacks he should be back within the next 21 days otherwise he’s out for the year.

Saints transactions

The Saints signed defensive tackle Christian Ringo back to the roster. Ringo was waived Saturday before the Titans game to create roster space. He’s been active for 7 games and he’s totaled 8 tackles in those 7 games.
