Interview with Saints DE Tanoh Kpassagnon

I had the opportunity to talk and ask Saints defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon a few questions. The Saints signed Kpassagnon to a two year deal back in March.

1) What led to you signing with the Saints rather than somewhere else or resigning in Kansas City?

1) “Needed a place where I could produce. The saints Dline and Dline coach consistently eat on the field. And love each other while doing it. I saw that when I played against them and it shows up in stats.”

2) What part of your game do you believe will show out in the Saints defensive system?

2) “My pass rushing abilities.”

3) Is there a certain teammate/player you’re looking forward to playing alongside with? And if so why?

3) “The whole Dline honestly. It’s cool to play with guys like Cam and Big O (Onyemata) but we have a young hungry team outside of those vets.”

4) Based on the offseason workouts and meetings so far, what would you expect your role on the team to be?

4) “Pivotal role contributing on defense and some special teams.”

5) What would you like Saints fans to know about your ethics?

5) “That’s what got me to the league and that’s what has kept me in. We live in a fast food league, it’s hard to keep your value for more than a year in the NFL. But my ethics(work ethics, and just being a good person) has led me to where I am and will help me to continue to grow.”
