Free Agency Targets List

Free agency has already begun, but the Saints seem to be more about retaining players rather than finding new ones. As they should, the players they have had the past four seasons have been huge contributors to the overall success of the team.

This is however, the most important offseason the Saints have faced in 15 years with the retirement of Drew Brees. It’s believed that Jameis Winston will stay in New Orleans and will start for the 2021 season.

The top priorities for the Saints entering this new league year should be CB, LB, WR and in that order. Let’s look at three players from each position in free agency that could end up in New Orleans.

*This list is based off of the players that could fit in the Saints scheme and that we could sign to a friendly deal (example: Saints aren’t getting Kenny Golladay so his name isn’t on the list).

*The players’ names crossed off have been signed. The / means will likely be addressed in the draft.
