Where each free agent the Saints have signed so far will fit in

Over the past month or so I’ve been watching a lot of film on the Saints newly signed free agents. Like a lot. Like maybe too much. I watched every snap of each free agent the Saints signed. Probably a total of 20ish hours worth of film all spent on evaluating the signings, the players and what they bring to the Saints. Going over areas that these players need improvement in and some areas that are really strong that the Saints might be lacking.

The Saints have relatively been quiet in free agency in terms of the players they’ve signed. Not big names but guys who could have an immediate impact on the team during camp but have a lot of potential.

Those names Include quarterback Andy Dalton, tight end J.P. Holtz, defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson, defensive tackle Kentavius Street, defensive lineman Taco Charlton, safety/special teams contributor Daniel Sorenson, and safety Justin Evans. This article won’t include safety Marcus Maye because I already wrote a few articles about him.

While that doesn’t sound like the most encouraging group of names, these guys have a lot of strengths.
