As the Saints prepare for their divisional matchup with the Bucs, the team is getting healthier. Some guys improved on the injury report and some guys returned as well. As the final practice approaches tomorrow, the main concern is the game status of offensive tackle Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk as the Saints are playing one of the best defensive fronts in the league on Sunday, in Tampa Bay.
Sean Payton was back at practice
After missing yesterday’s practice due to an illness, Saints head coach Sean Payton returned to the facility on Thursday. Ryan Nielsen filled in yesterday for Payton, and now the Saints team doesn’t have to worry about the possibility of going into this game without their head coach.
Cam Jordan returned
As I said yesterday, defensive end Cameron Jordan did return to practice Thursday after being out with Covid. His 10 day window opened due to his vaccination and returned to practice and was activated off the Covid/reserve list.
When we could see Mark Ingram return
Mark Ingram, who has also been out with Covid, is still a question mark as to when we could see a return. He was placed on the Covid list on the 8th and his 10 day window opens on the 17th, which is Friday. So we could possibly see a return then, if not we maybe see his activated off the Covid list Saturday as he’s not too far behind Cameron Jordan as to when he was placed on the Covid list.
