In a short week for the Saints the injuries continue to get worse and the roster is becoming more short handed. Still will all these “excuses” the Saints are still trying to maneuver their way into a playoff wildcard spot.
On a positive note, the Saints are starting to manipulate the cap and look ahead to their future by making some moves for the soon upcoming offseason.
Injury report
The Saints and the Bills didn’t have practice today, but the injury report is a simulated belief of what the injury report would look like. Tuesday and Wednesday the teams will have practices.

Update on Adam Trautman
After having his best game of the season tight end Adam Trautman suffered a sprained MCL. He’s expected to miss 4-6 weeks and will likely be placed on injured reserve. Nick Vannett and Juwan Johnson are the other two tight ends on the roster along with Garrett Griffin.

The Saints and Taysom Hill came to a mutual agreement on a contract extension for four years. He earns $22.5M guaranteed and can earn up to anything between $40M to $95M. For a full breakdown of the extension here’s the article.
