Saints Vs Giants Pregame Guide

The Saints (2-1) will host their first home game of the season Sunday against the Giants (0-3). It will be the first time since January 5th of 2020 that the Superdome will be at full capacity. It will be one to remember as it’s their “homecoming” game. Here’s your pregame guide.

How/where to watch the game

The game will be played in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Kickoff is at 10:00 AM PST, 12:00 PM CT, and 1:00 PM EST. Here’s a map of who gets the game locally on Fox:

If you don’t get the game or can’t watch it for some reason, links to live streams of the game will be sent to my Saints groups chat. Link is here to join: https://relevnt.app/vibe/44763

Uniforms

The Saints will be in their all black uniforms, black jerseys over black pants

Injury Report

T, Terron Armstead (elbow), out

C, Erik McCoy (calf), out

Players to watch

  • LB2, whether it’s Baun or Werner they gotta stop Barkley and the RPO’s cause they struggled against Carolina
  • James Hurst, he’s in for Terron and the Giants defense isn’t bad. How does he perform overall
  • Alvin Kamara, does Sean Payton keep in involved in the game plan like last week
  • Marquez Callaway, can he get more involved than last week. Last week was a good start
  • C, whether Ruiz or Clapp starts at center it’s important to keep an eye on whoever starts as thats been a weak point of the team this year

Things to keep an eye on

  • Can the Saints put constant pressure on Jones and not let him scramble
  • How does LB2 perform against a running back like Barkley
  • How involved does Marquez Callaway get in the offense
  • Does Sean Payton heavily favor the run in his offense again
  • Winston’s decision making
  • With the Giants missing Slayton and Shepard do the Saints blitz more often
  • What coverage does the defense run with the Giants being short handed, I would expect man coverage
  • Does Sean Payton get more aggressive with his play calling this week
