The Saints are showing the NFL world that they’re ready to compete. In the past week the team has added talented players to build around an already talented roster.
After losing three big players in Terron Armstead, Marcus Williams, and Malcolm Jenkins, the team still found a way to have a successful offseason. It took some time for these moves to play out in a positive light, but it has ultimately worked out.
It felt like the Saints were losing the offseason and were on their way to being a non competitive team. They waited and added talent through the draft and waited for the market in free agency to calm down to get their guy in Tyrann Mathieu.
