Injury report

Players to watch

Malcolm Perry, he was signed earlier this week. How much is he used and how does Sean Payton use him?

Taysom Hill, what roles does he play in the offense?

Brett Maher, can he somehow be a solid kicker for the Saints.

Marshon Lattimore, he’s had a slump of a few weeks, can he have a bounce back game against Diggs and Sanders?

Cameron Jordan, the pass rush will rely on him with Davenport and Kpassagnon out. Can he get to Allen and make some plays?

Things to keep an eye on

Can the Saints play a clean game again and not let penalties beat them?

Does the offense find ways to get into a rhythm or will they continue to struggle?

If the Saints defense creates turnovers, can the offense take advantage of that opportunity?

Do the Saints play to the level of a good team vs a good team? Or continue to play at the level of a struggling team?

How does the pass protection look?

How often does Pete Werner get on the field?

Keys to the game

Control the clock, the Saints once again will have to rely heavily on their defense to set their offense up for success. The best way to help the defense is to keep the Bills offense off the field and control the clock while getting points on the board. All this will keep the defense rested and can set the offense up for success on future drives.

Create turnovers, the Bills have one of the best defenses in the league, period. Their offensive struggles and losses recently have been due to their offensive turnovers which set up their defense in a bad position, and get them back in the field with little rest.

Win the trenches, the Saints will have to find ways to win the game with their big guys. This game specifically will rely heavily on the offensive linemen to set up running lanes and give Siemian time to throw. On the other side, the defensive line will need to create pressure even without Marcus Davenport. The big men up front will have a key role to how this game plays out.
