The Saints made some moves Tuesday due to injuries, a need for depth, and just an overall improvement for the team. Here’s what went on Tuesday.

The Saints released kicker Aldrick Rosas after recent struggles

Kicker Cody Parkey worked out with the Saints and ended up signing with the team

Defensive end Jayln Holmes was signed to the 53 man roster

The Saints signed defensive back Bryce Thompson to the practice squad; he was originally with the team during training camp as an undrafted rookie free agent

The Dolphins signed C, Austin Reiter off the Saints practice squad and his contract was terminated by the Saints

Running back Tony Jones Jr. who suffered an injury Sunday vs the Giants is expected to be out 3-4 weeks

The Saints worked out running backs Ryquell Armstead, Brian Hill, Duke Johnson, Lamar Miller, and Ito Smith

The Saints signed running back Devine Ozigbo off the Jaguars practice squad to the 53 man roster, pending a physical; he started his NFL career in New Orleans in 2019

With this signing expect a move later this week of someone being waived/released/moved to the practice squad to make room for Ozigbo
